Candles
At Soul Love, we want you to receive the most out of these loving creations as much as possible! Candles do require a bit of attention, safety precautions, and general maintenance. Following are some suggested guidelines for safety, and to extend the optimum life of your candle.
It is important to allow enough time for your first burn to achieve a full melt pool, or until the full surface has melted to the edges of your container. We suggest allowing up to three hours for your first burn. Your candle creates a wax pattern or “memory,” and this will extend the life of your candle to ensure your candle burns evenly for each subsequent burn.
Trim the wick before each use to ensure a clean burn, and remove all wick debris from candle after wick has completely cooled. This can be done by gently snapping off the debris with your fingers along the top of the wick, or you may use a pair of scissors or nail clippers.
Do not burn candle for longer than four hours at a time.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep within eyesight and away from flammable objects, drafts, children, and pets.
Crystals
Each Soul Love candle comes with a uniquely chosen high vibrational crystal that is Reiki charged and infused with love and intention. These are meant to be special keepsakes for you after your candle has extended its life, or alternatively, you may choose to remove them prior to burning your candle. Once your candle has finished, use caution as you remove them and ensure that wax and candle has completely cooled. You may rinse them under warm water to melt away any remaining wax.
